State of Emergency Declared in Kern County to Help Storm Recovery

SACRAMENTO, CA – California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom has issued a state of emergency to six California counties including Kern on Tuesday after severe storms caused flooding, mudslides and fires over the weekend.

Other counties that were declared an emergency proclamation included Imperial, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego.
